Since 1897. A century-old winery
About Us
Our origins date back to 1897, with the founding of the winery by the Oria de Rueda family in the Utiel-Requena wine region. Since then, we have been a pioneering winery: the first to obtain the Cava Designation of Origin outside the Penedès, a visionary milestone that has shaped our trajectory.
However, it is our most recent history —since 2013, with the incorporation of a new management team— that defines who we are today and the path we are projecting into the future.
Our entrepreneurial mindset, agile approach, and flexible attitude set us apart in a traditionally conservative sector. This way of understanding the business has enabled us to build strong commercial relationships in more than 40 countries, achieve sustained growth over the past decade, and position ourselves among the top 20 Spanish wineries.
Driven by an obsession for quality and a deep commitment to service, we develop products that respond to real market demands, delivering tangible value to our clients and strategic partners.

TODAY
Looking ahead
Today, Torre Oria is an industrial winery with a dynamic and entrepreneurial spirit, where quality and customer service remain core values.
Where we Are
Located inland from Valencia, the Utiel-Requena region sits between 600 and 900 metres above sea level. This altitude allows the grapes to ripen slowly, enhancing their aromatic concentration. The influence of the continental climate, with marked contrasts between day and night, helps preserve the wines’ natural acidity and balance. These privileged geographical conditions have made Utiel-Requena a winemaking region with a tradition that dates back thousands of years.
